The Little Oasis Trust

FAQs

We are a registered UK charity who support bereaved parents across the UK by providing grants to fund restorative breaks at a time of deep emotional distress.
Our grants are open to parents of children aged 1-18 years who have died suddenly and without an immediately apparent cause, across the UK. For more details, please visit our ‘Contact us’ page.
We are working to provide grants to be used to fund (wholly or in part) restorative breaks for families who have experienced child loss, and informal support. We are not able to provide any form of therapy, counselling or clinical support but can signpost to other organisations that may be able to provide these services. For more information, please visit our ‘Resources’ page
We are funded by supporter donations, fundraising events and charitable grants.
As we are a new charity, we are still in our initial fundraising phase so we are not yet open to applications. If you or a family you know are in need of other help and support, please visit our ‘Resources’ page.
We are based in Northamptonshire, England, but support families across the whole of the UK.
No, our compassionate grants are provided free of charge.
We are always looking for volunteers to help us support grieving families. Please visit our ‘Get Involved’ page to learn more.
Because we are a small, volunteer led charity, your support has real, direct impact.
